I received my Avon order this weekend. I can't get nice Bra's to fit me locally, only granny type bra's with lots of lace, and as I want to make the most of my cleavage at the up and coming Hen weekend....I invested my hard earned cash in an Enhancement Bra!! Or as my friend call's them, plate catching bra's!! Oh what joy, the vocal point is now my chest.
I also purchased a skipping rope from Avon which calorie counts and times you as you skip. This is my first step towards total fitness and world domination...LOL In my excitement to lose 1 stone in 15 minutes skipping I neglected to change my bra. Oh the pain and the agony!
Picture the scene, I'm in the garden and skipping for the 1st time in, well too long. I've discovered that it's better to do one full jump and leave that little half skip out that I used to do as a child as, well quite frankly the pain is too much!! So, I can manage 5 skips before my boobs escape and a couple more before my knickers drop below my belly. the good news is my "apron" keeps them from falling right down!! I've set my timer for 5 mins and each time I stop, so does the clock. So, between refilling my bra, rubbing my shins to relieve the pain of when I miss a skip and whip myself with the plastic rope, it actually takes me 15 mins!
After several skips, I also notice a bit of, leakage shall we say. I've had kids, I can cope with this but I make a mental note to get some Tena Lady next time I go shopping! After the pains in my chest have dissipated and I've gotten over my eldest comments about me being "a funny shade of purple", I endeavour to skip for another 5 minutes. Again, not consecutive ones, but completed in 10 minutes this time.
The following day, in a more suitable bra, I skip for 11 minutes, the next day 15!! I'm so chuffed with myself and though I ache, I can see and feel the benefit. Pstchologically and physically.
Yesterday, weigh in day, I've gained a pound and in the afternoon I hurt my back! Dr's given me knock out drops and today I am floating on a cloud of self pity....But I'll be back!
