I can thoroughly recommend the venue as the setting was idyllic.  No neighbours, so we could make lots of noise, the staff where fantastic, nothing was too much trouble.  The food was wonderful but the actual setting itself helped to make the day, along with the weather and a spectacular sunset.

For my birthday, my best beloved did a packed lunch or brilton and stockly soup (or Stilton and broccoli!) and off we went for a tour of Powys Castle and gardens.  We had no little ones with us so we had the opportunity to have a proper mooch!  We even found a wandering stag, a Peahen and her baby and a dragon with 7 heads!

I'm letting my exercise regime slip slightly using the very poor excuse of not having time.  But things should be calming down now on the events calendarfront, so I'll have to pull me finger out!!  I've just bought a book by Jan Ruhe called "It's about Time", its a guide on self management promising to "put you back in charge of your time"  I'm hoping I can learn a thing or 2, once I can find time to read it!!!!
