I'm feeling more energised today - just been on a belting walk with S. I didn't realise how long it was but we must've covered a good 3.5 possibly 4 miles. We waked and waffled about things us girlies do but it felt really nice to be-able to have a nice walk with a good friend and have the added bonus of burning calories. Its true what they say, excersise is good for you!
I did the same walk on Saturday with my sis. Having eaten a large amount of french stick with lunch, neither of us could get comfortable afterwards with out bloated bellys, so opted for a walk out along the canal and country lanes.
Sunday was another morning walk to find the holy well our cottage is named after, this involved road walking, cow dodging and bribing the children with, of all things chocolate biscuits!! What kind of a mother am I rewarding the children with high calorific, nutritionally valueless treats!! ARGH, I still have a lot to learn - going now to beat myself with a copy of WOMENS FITNESS
