Our bed collapsed yesterday!! Should I take this as a compliment or a warning?

It has been suggested to aid weight loss, to publicly announce my intentions!! Well, I'd say keeping a blog and telling my family is public enough. However - I have also been reading "The Power Of Less" by Leo Babautta and he further suggests to write down my food and exercise diary.

Don't foget these are MY allowances according to my weight, height and how much I want to lose.  ALSO, my radical thought is this: to move more means I can eat more!!  Which is why I eat potato salad etc, its why I still have wine occassionally and other treats.  And its why I'm not going to fail!  I'm not leading such a restrictive life as I see that as setting myself up to fail either during the weight loss or after.

I do short bursts of excercise during the day and go for a 40 min walk every day and/or 40 aerobic/resistance training.  More about this in my next blog....

Breakfast; Oats made with semi skimmed milk and maple syrup
Lunch; Ham salad, colslaw and potato salad, rocket leaves, toms and a corner of cheese (yum yum)
Evening Meal: Chicken breast wrapped in bacon stuffed with Mozzarella cheese from Asda, runner beans, carrots and roasted potato slices.
Snacks; 1 digestive
Drinks; Large Tea with 1.5 sugar/milk, 3 litres of water.
Total number of calories 1018

Excercise: Running 28mins@5.22mph 330 Cals
Universal Circuit Resistance, 40 mins 396 cals
