Do you think It would be easier to lose weight if someone else cooked your meals!!??

The point of my blog is to show people how I am loosing weight and although I have cut out the rubbish (haribo - hmmmm, how I miss them), I am trying to shift the weight through exercise and haven't really cut out treats such as wine on a Friday night!!

I have tried every diet, pill, therapy etc under the sun and one of the things I always used to feel (an occasionally rant about)  in frustration is how easier this would be if someone else cooked my meals. However, as I tried more things I have found that its restrictions that help people to fail and the feeling of guilt you carry if you do have a chip or a beer!

Drs have told me I won't loose weight (PSOS), slimming club reps have shrugged their shoulders when I've not lost weight and of course, I've given up after not shifting anything even though I've "followed" the programme.

What I never did though was move more than I usually did, i.e. further than the fridge. I took up walking in July 09 and slowly (and I mean slowly) progressed from 40 min strolls every other night onto running, I was a size 22/24 I'm now 16/18, I was 234lb I'm now 200lb.

So should I ship someone in to fix my meals?  What's your thoughts????

errr…. no! Because they wouldn’t necessarily cook what you wanted to eat so you would still feel unsatisfied and therefore want to pick! ;D

Hi S, You are so right, Its all about choice and how you are feeling depends on what you want to eat. However, think of the luxury of having the evening off from cooking and even thinking about what you need to shop for that day/week. What if the imported chef would cook for the family too? Even better!!

Do you think it would be more appealing if the chef wore only an apron….
