My meals for the next 28 days have arrived by TAXI (!) and so far I am reluctantly impressed. Breakfast ranges from muesli to toasted oats, lunches include tomato & veg Pasta to soups and couscous and the evening meals look, well, OK actually. We have Thai chicken curry and basmati rice, beef bolognese with red wine and chicken fricassee. All meals are provided but Ihave to provide fresh fruit, veg and dairy.
There are crisps and the obligatory cereal bar which lets it down a little - the first thing I though was that this paints a picture of a stereotypical Brit scoffing crisps and chocy biscuits! Was I really that unique with my Haribo and m&m addiction.
I found my glossy brochure which was actually a clip file presented in a pretty blue box and a sealed envelope!! Oh the excitement, the joy - this has to be my, I repeat MY tailored Menu plan.
I sat down at the over flowing dining table, buried under a mountain of crisp, curry (didn't I mention the curry?) and black squidgy packets and carefully opened my envelope.....
The first thing I saw was that I was to be billed in 30 days!! Hang on!! This is a FREE trial... Hmmm, everything went back in its little boxes PDQ and I am now awaiting confirmation of the FREE bit of this trial!! I consoled myself with a banana and toast - they don't call me an emotional eater for nothing you know!!
Oh No!! Well I guess if turns out to be a scam instead of the good things you were expecting you will just have to tell the world and it’s ever listening wife about the dodgy sales techniques…..and you **know** how well I network in the ether!!!
