I saw a lady driving a dog the other day

Actually, she was driving a car.  The dog was in the front passenger seat looking around himself, clearly enjoying the view.  However, every time the lady went past a turning, she'd slow right down then once upon the turning, speed back up again!!  Most annoying for us poor folk following behind.

It occurred to me that the dog was not just any old dog - this was a navigator dog.  She was reliant on the dog to tell her when to turn, but because he was wearing a seat-belt - in the normal human fashion - she'd pinned his front legs down so he was unable to point!!

Look, this dog is clever, it was navigating the country lanes after all, but it would be too much to expect it to be able to speak too!!  Having said that, she could teach it to say "sausages" as the turn approaches (all dogs can say "sausages" - least they could when I was a kid)
