It wasn't lost - it was just lay there. I'd passed it a couple of times last week and couldn't work out what it was - thought at first it was a whale, but that's silly, why would there be a whale at the side of the road??
Then I thought it was a shark and the next time I rode past I couldn't find it. It must've moved - but I found it again and had a proper look. I say a proper look but when you're biking down a lane with tall hedges either side of you and mad eejits driving at you, maybe what I should've said was a careful look. It was definitely a Dolphin.
Lay on its side in the dust at the side of the road, lost and forlorn. Hopefully not forgotten by the child who'd misplaced its toy.....Amazing the things you find when you are out on your bike.
