Had a lovely half term – the weather helped

Managed to even squeeze in a day at the beach and I wore shorts - in public!! Most of the time off was spent in the garden but I did get a few bike rides in and a couple of runs. I'm definitelynot skipping again!!  Not after the wash out last time.  I'm getting a minimum of 50 mins of cardio in every day and 30 mins of toning in 5 days a week.  I've also increased my calories to 2000 - 2100.

Went shopping last week and bought 3 dresses!  First one since my wedding dress, tried one out last week, took it out to lunch and no body looked at me as if to say why is that fat woman wearing a dress!!  I still have issues over body image though - hey! I've been a long time fat!!  I was looking back at the pictures similar to the ones in the previous post and even I can see a difference in my neck and face.

I just need to knock this plateau in the head now, I've lost .5 of a lb in the last 9 weeks although the inches are shifting - which is great news.  I've actually lost 2lb this week but I put on 1.5 over the last 2 weeks.  If your feeling a little de- motivated, just remember muscle doesn't weigh heavier than fat BUT its volume is smaller.  So keep toning, keep moving and eventually we'll all look ripped, or at least better than we did!!!  Below is a visual reminder of the fat v muscle issue...
