Well that's the theory once I learn how to light the fire - that's BB job but as he's away it falls to me to get down and dirty with the log burner. I only ever spend an hour, if that in the front room so I can't claim all the enjoyment of the heat but with the heavy curtains shut and the aga on, the house heats up a treat.
However, we have an igloo for a bathroom and thank god BB got me an electric under blanket for me birthday (least it wasn't a sander!)
